Euphorbia Horrida (African Milk Barrel)

We love this cactus for its chunky body, colour and gorgeous symmetrical spines! Euphorbia Horrida is also knowns as an African milk barrel, Horrida means ‘spiny’ In its native South Africa. It is a very strong spiny succulent popular for its blue-grey colour and beautiful clustered crowns. 

This plant requires very little pampering to become established. In fact, more die from too much care and watering than from neglect. Make sure you give your bunny well-draining soil and lots of sunlight. It’s a perfect plant for urban living and a really beautiful and striking plant. 

Low-maintenance and an excellent choice for anyone new to growing houseplants. This plant will thrive as long as it’s water only when it’s completely dry and kept in a warm and sunny spot.

Water when the top few inches of soil are dry, soak through and leave to drain.

Yes, once a month through the summer or March through September.
